If something isn't working right on a previous version, chances are it's fixed in the newest version.
(PSA: Old saves can be played on new versions on some emulators by locating the save file (.sav) and naming it after the new version. Changing V1.8 to V2.2 etc.)
FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST CHANGES!
Bugfix:
-Bug after maxie that repeats dialogue when talking to him from below is fixed as of 2.5
